JRTC Welding Students Attend AWS Competition   Low Moor, VA (Dec. 3, 2019) - Jackson River Technical Center welding students recently competed in the 2019 American Welding Society welding competition, with Chevy Brown coming out on top and placing 1st. The competition was held at Botetourt Technical Education Center in Fincastle on October 17th. Approximately 13 competitors from Floyd, Giles, Salem, Botetourt, and JRTC were present. The competition consisted of various types of welding in multiple positions.
