Selleck Family Loses Home, Two Dogs and a Cat; But No Injuries

| Rich Patch, VA (Sat.9, 2019) - On Saturday, March 9th, John and Bethany Selleck lost their home to a fire... the only good news to come from this is that none of the family got hurt.
The 407 Montgomery Knob Road residence (in the upper Rich Patch area) was lost as were the family's pets, two dogs and a cat.
John is an Alleghany County employee, and grew up here. Bethany works for the YMCA Headstart program at Mountain View Elementary. The couple has three children which attend Alleghany County Schools.
