A Stringed Instrument 'Petting Zoo' Event Set At Bath County Public Library

Bath County, VA (July 16, 2018) - Bath County Public Library welcomes Jaime McArdle, Instructor with Allegheny Mountain String Project, as she returns to the library to offer a String Instrument Petting Zoo in the Craven Room. The petting zoo will be held from Tuesday, July 31 – Thursday, August 2 at 11 AM. Children in grades 1 – 7 can try out a stringed instrument as part of a 3 day workshop led by Mrs. McArdle.
This workshop is sponsored by the Friends of Bath County Public Library, Garth Newel Music Center, and Allegheny Mountain String Project. Children may be registered at the Bath County Public Library. Space is limited, advanced registration is suggested. Sign up will be taken on a first come first serve basis on July 31. For information call the library at 540-839-7286.
