Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 7, 2018) -Clifton Forge Public Library Director Mike Barnes is pleased to present a pictorial display paying tribute to the late B.C. Williams, Jr.

The display focuses on the various aspects of his life – from his childhood through his legendary football success, to his career as an educator, and as a life-long resident of Clifton Forge.

Featured also are a poem written about Mr. Williams by local writer, David Shores, and a replica of an Alleghany County Public Schools’ Certificate of Commendation presented jointly to B.C. and his children, Brittany and Bosco, for recognition of all-time track and field records in one family.

A memorial journal is included with the display. Area residents are invited to write a special memory or special thoughts on their friendship with Mr. Williams. At the conclusion of the display, the journal will be presented to B.C.’s children.

The display will be featured throughout February and March.
