 | Clifton Forge, VA (Nov. 27, 2017) - Committee members, Johnette Roberts and Ann Wright of the John Hillert Soup-er Sunday event held recently at the Masonic Amphitheatre, present Debbie West, Clifton Forge Area Food Pantry Director a check from the proceeds of the event. John Hillert Soup-er Sunday featured 26 area chefs with home-made soup, home made desserts and raised enough money to purchase 13,857 lbs of food in addition to the 140 lbs of food that was donated at the event. Money raised increased 20% over last year's event. The event was made up of volunteers, from the committee members to the chefs to the many volunteers who worked the event and donated their time.
