Updated: Rock Blasting Set Tuesday, June 27 Near Hickory Ave. In Clifton Forge   Clifton Forge, VA (June 22, 2017) - The town of Clifton Forge just released the following statement: "On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 27, 2017 (1-3 p.m.), the company constructing the Hickory Avenue extension adjacent to the Kroger shopping center and Oak Hill Ave, will be conducting some blasting of rock. Individuals in the immediate area may experience some ground vibration and may hear some noise. Safety precautions are in place and the blasting will occur for only a short period."
