Computer Classes Continue at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library

 
Covington, VA (March 14, 2017) - The staff at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library will continue its digital literacy courses with two computer classes that will be offered on Saturday, March 25th.

Instructor Adrienne Young will teach Introduction to Google at 11 a.m. Students will learn about the suite of free online Google tools and apps. Participants must have a G-mail account to access the apps.

Young will also instruct a new class entitled Coding for Kids at 1 p.m. Children from ages 6-10 can learn the basics of programming their own interactive stories and games using SCRATCH Jr. software.

Registration is required for both of these classes; each will be limited to ten participants. For more information or to sign up, stop by the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library or call at 962-3321. The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is located at 406 W. Riverside Street in Covington.
