Betty Elizabeth Shortridge, 76, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Betty was born November 1, 1948, in Charlotte, NC., to Betty Lee DeWitt Leonard Vincent and the late DeWitt Clinton Leonard.

Betty was a homemaker, a great cook, and gardener who loved canning the bounty of their garden.

She was a devoted Christian.

Surviving Betty includes her husband, Terry Edwin Shortridge; daughters, Sonya Loving (Andy Patton) of Bluefield, VA., Sarah Glotfelty of White Sulphur Springs; Nicki Meade (Clint) of Richwood, WV., and Vicki Hintz (Ezra) of Conway, SC; her mother, Betty Vincent of Grantsville, MD; 13 grandchildren; brother, John Leonard (Linda) of Warsaw, IN; niece, Becky Dunnick (Steve) of Indiana; great-niece, Katie (Ryan) Muncy of Indiana.

A memorial service will be held later in the spring.
