Marian Jean Vest, 80, of Alderson, West Virginia, passed away on January 13, 2025, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 30, 1944, in Long Island, New York, was the daughter of the late George Stanco and Beatrice Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Vest in 1988 and her son, Kenneth D. Vest in 2018.

Survivors are her daughters, Judy Hammonds and Tina Vest; grandchildren, Kendra Vest Matheson. Alexis Hammonds, Timothy Hammonds and Kenny Vest, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kaydon, Lana, Marshall, Mac, and Eloise and a special son-in-law, Lewis Hammonds, Jr.

Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025 at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel.
