Warm Springs Resident, Longtime Bath County Pharmacy Technician, Dies At Age 58

Tracie Michelle (Carter) Baldwin, 58, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 10, 2025 at her residence in Warm Springs, Virginia.

She was born on January 27, 1966, a daughter to Lettie Mae (Peery) Cauley and the late Leonard Lee Carter.

Tracie, who never knew a stranger, was a familiar face to Bath County where she served as a pharmacy technician for over forty years with both the Hot Springs Pharmacy and Bath Community Pharmacy.

She enjoyed taking pictures, and collecting memorabilia associated with frogs was one of her fondest hobbies. Additionally, she loved riding bikes with Tommy and fast was her favorite speed!

Above all, Tracie will be remembered for her selfless nature, heart of gold, and her willingness to always help those in need.

Along with her father, predeceased family members include her stepfather, Hubert Cauley; sister, Karen Sue Carter; aunt, Pat Stover; and her uncles, Harold and Clarence Peery.

In addition to her mother, Lettie Mae Cauley of Hot Springs, she is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Baldwin of Warm Springs; her son, Billy Baldwin of Warm Springs; brother, Dennis Carter of Hot Springs; as well as her beloved dog, Buck.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hot Springs Fire Department, P. O. Box N, Hot Springs, Va. 24445.
