Obituary for Jimmy Day Price Jimmy Day Price
Ronceverte Resident, Heavy Machine Operator, Dies At Age 74

Jimmy Day Price was born in Ronceverte, West Virginia on January 26, 1950. All Angels in Heaven rejoiced as Jimmy left this Earth to be with his Savior on November 12, 2024.

Greeting him in Heaven with open arms were his wife of 50 years, Donna Price; his son, Ronnie Price; his mother, Margaret Price, and his treasured pets, Rex, Patches and Boomer. Also there celebrating his arrival was numerous treasured aunts, uncles and cousins.

Remaining on Earth to carry his memory are his daughter, Jennifer Fox, and granddaughter, Madisyn Fox, Ariles Zimmerman, and a few close friends he considered family.

Jimmy spent his childhood years living with his mother, Margaret, before heading out to join the Army Reserves. Years later, he met Donna and their love blossomed into a beautiful life spent caring for their home, children and grandchild.

He was recognized for his kindhearted and hardworking nature, always getting the job done and doing so with a smile on his face. He was a faithful man and a dedicated friend.

Jimmy spent his time doing what he loved. He spent long days operating heavy machinery as a construction worker before coming home to meals prepared by his wife. He watched westerns on television as often as he could. He listened to the Oldies channel on the radio as he drove his son's truck, remembering their time together. He lived each day with an outstretched arm, readily supporting anyone needing a hand.

He attended church every Sunday and read his Bible every night, committing his life to his Lord as a faithful servant and trusting Him with his whole heart.

He will be remembered by his loved ones in a golden light. His family is honored to carry his legacy with them.

Jimmy's life will be celebrated privately by his immediate family by his request.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
