Hot Springs Resident, Tucker-Sharp Pen Company Retiree, Dies At Age 95

Mrs. Mary Davis Morris, age 95, of Hot Springs, Virginia, went to be with her beloved husband, Dennis C. Morris, in heaven on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Mrs. Morris was born October 19, 1929 in Covington, the daughter of the late Carl Davis and Dorothy Painter Davis.

During her working career, she had been employed in the accounting department of Tucker-Sharp Pen Company.

Mary loved life, loved people, and loved her cats.

Her family and friends will miss her greatly and cherish many fond memories of times spent together but are truly grateful that she is no longer suffering.

Mrs. Morris leaves behind her three sons, Steve Z. Morris and wife, Maria of Satellite Beach, Florida; Calvin W. Morris and wife, Kyong of Ruckersville, VA and Anthony I. Morris and wife, Teresa of Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Tahia Barre (Vincent) of Jacksonville, FL, Sorina Terrell (Drew) of Malaga, Spain, James Morris of West Virginia and Stephanie Morris of Chesterfield, VA; her great-grandchildren, Julian Barre and Siena Barre of Jacksonville, FL, Nicolas Terrell and Natalia Terrell of Malaga, Spain.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in Palestine Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
