Youthful Trick-or-Treaters Brave Cold Weather for Sweet Treats Downtown By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (Oct. 31, 2025)— It was a brisk, approximately 45 degree day in Clifton Forge this afternoon when about a dozen or so trick-or-treaters dressed up in their Halloween costumes to visit the shops downtown. As in years' past, shops filled bowls with candy and had them ready and waiting for youthful trick-or-treaters who came, bags in hand, to collect candy, cookies, and other sugary treats. The event for the not-yet-school-aged children ran from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
