Members and advisors of the Alpha Eta Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College hosted a “Walking Tacos Cinco de Mayo” event recently for graduating PTK members. PTK, an academic honor society, is part of an international organization made up of more than 3.5 million members across 11 nations. The American Association of Community Colleges has recognized PTK as the official honor society for two-year colleges since 1929. Students eligible for membership must have completed at least 12 credit hours of coursework in their designated program of study with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
