Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes Effort Noted Here

Clifton Forge, VA (Sept. 15, 2020) - The talented and generous ladies of Mary Anne’s Antiques & Things (Edgemont Drive, Covington) have handmade quilts to donate for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox gifts. These lovely quilts fit into a gallon-size ziplock bag, which will then fit into a shoebox with room left for additional items.

To request a quilt to use in your shoebox gift, Message @Laurie Fitzgerald on Facebook, or text her at 540.968.1724.

"People just like you pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Churches and groups collect these boxes the third week in November. Then, thousands of volunteers inspect and prepare the shoeboxes for international shipping. The shoeboxes arrive in over 100 countries where trained pastors and community leaders share the Gospel and pass out the shoebox gifts to the children," said Michele Kahle, program spokesperson here.
