WestRock, Adjusting To Product Demand, Lays Off Eight In Low Moor   Low Moor, VA (May 16, 2020) - The Journal reached out to WestRock this weekend after hearing of another small set of temporary employment adjustments. Here is the verbatim response from Communications Manager, Rebecca Johnson: "As a company, we match our production with our customer demand. In response to the current economic environment and the impact of COVID-19 on demand, WestRock is temporarily taking down one sheeting line in our Low Moor, VA converting facility. This will result in a reduction in force of eight employees in our Low Moor, VA converting facility."
