15th Annual MLK Walk Set January 19, 2020 Here   Covington, VA (Jan. 10, 2020) - The 15th Annual Martin Luther King Walk of Legacy will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 beginning at 3 p.m. at the former Jeter Watson School in Covington. Participants will walk from there to the Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ at 415 S. Alleghany Ave., where a program featuring Dr. Brenda Hale as keynote speaker will be held. Dr. Hale is an 8 term president of the Roanoke NAACP. The event is sponsored by HOPE, CAYA and the McClinton Foundation. A potluck supper will follow the program.
