Harding Challenges Deeds To Six Debates

Charlottesville, VA (August 16, 2019) - According to radio station WINA, Independent candidate for the Virginia Senate's 25th District Elliott Harding has challenged incumbent State Senator R. Creigh Deeds (D-25th) to a series of six debates at the following district venues: Charlottesville/Albemarle, Lexington/Buena Vista/Rockbridge, Covington/Alleghany, Bath, Nelson, and Highland counties.
The exact location of the planned debates hasn't been released. The Harding campaign indicated that the sessions would start on September 23rd and would be held once per week until the election.
Harding said that if his invitation were declined, he would hold a town hall meeting for voters to question him instead.
