'Songfest' At The Historic Masonic Theatre Sat., March 23 By Judy Moffitt Clark   Clifton Forge, VA (March 19, 2019) - For anyone who's ever watched The Sing-Off on NBC or rocked to the music of the Academical Village People from UVA when they came to Alleghany High School .... Here's your chance to enjoy college a capella - singing voices not accompanied by instruments - at its finest, and raise funds for local scholarships at the same time! Five college a cappella groups will be in concert, co-sponsored by the Alleghany Highlands Virginia Tech Alumni Assoc. and Ingevity. The groups: Sensations, all female, and Juxtaposition, all male, both from Virginia Tech; Noteworthy, co-ed, and Low Key, all male, both from Radford U.; Baldwin Charms, all female, from Mary Baldwin College. So you can bet your bottom dollar that all of the kids in the groups that will be performing Saturday night are not only talented but funny, engaging and energetic. It'll be great entertainment!
