Boys Home Hosts Workshop #2: Garden Planting   Covington, VA (March 13, 2019) - On Monday, March 25, at 6:45 p.m., Boys Home will host a free garden planting workshop with Charlie Wiley from the Jackson River Garden Center. The workshop will take place at 6:45 p.m. in the Boys Home School, located at 414 Boys Home Road in Covington. Gardeners, aspiring gardeners, garden and vegetable enthusiasts, and curious bystanders are invited to attend! Participants are encouraged to RSVP to (540) 965-7700. Happening in conjunction with the Boys Home sustainable agriculture program, the workshop is the second of six workshops focused on garden planning, planting, maintenance, heart-healthy cooking, food preservation, and season extension. This workshop is made possible by Grow Appalachia, a nonprofit organization out of Berea College in Kentucky.
