Brown Bag Book Club to Meet March 21

Clifton Forge, VA (March 11, 2019) - The Clifton Forge Public Library’s Brown Bag Book Club will meet on Thursday, March 21. The group will discuss the “New York Times” bestseller “The Fallen,” by David Baldacci.

Amos Decker, star FBI detective with the unique gift of a remarkable memory, along with his colleague, Alex Jamison, must solve four increasingly bizarre murders in a dying rust belt town. Filled with twists and turns and unexpected revelations, the closer they come to the truth, the deadlier it becomes.

The “Associated Press” hails Baldacci as “a wonderful storyteller [who] incorporates wonderful characters into baffling conspiracies. He takes on small-town America, capturing both good and bad elements. He demonstrates why these small towns are worth saving."

The “Washington Post” says "Decker is one of the most unusual detectives any novelist has dreamed up."

The Brown Bag Book Club meets from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., in the Library’s Michael Armstrong Community Room.

New members are always welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend and to bring a lunch. Dessert will be provided.
