Jeff Irvine Elected Clifton Forge Mayor; Marshall Gets Vice Mayor Nod   Clifton Forge, VA (Jan. 9, 2019) - Longtimie Clifton Forge town councilman, Jeff Irvine, was elected by his fellow councilman as mayor tonight on the second ballot after he found himself in a 2-2 tie with newly-elected councilman, Pam Marshall. But on the second ballot, Irvine won the support of Marshall and retained the vote of councilman, Bob Umstead to secure the three votes necessary to win the post. Councilman Marshall was then nominated by councilman David Oeltjen for vice mayor and she won that vote 4-1 over newly-elected councilman, Dr. Ronald Goings.
