CF Public Library Offers Free Screening of Documentary

| Clifton Forge, VA (July 12, 2018) - The Clifton Forge Public Library will offer a free screening of the award-winning documentary, āGreen Fire.ā It will be shown on Thursday, July 19, in the Libraryās Michael Armstrong Community Room. It will begin at 6:00 p.m.
āGreen Fireā focuses on Aldo Leopold, the father of wildlife ecology and the U.S. wilderness system.
2018 marks the 70th anniversary of the completion of āA Sand County Almanac,ā Leopoldās classic work which has inspired generations of conservationists.
The program is part of a series being presented across the Commonwealth by Virginiaās United Land Trusts, the Virginia Department of Forestry, and the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
The documentary will be followed with a panel discussion, āConversations about Land, People, and Community: āA Sand County Almanacā Revisited.ā The discussion will include interaction with the audience.
