Muscles With Russell

Clifton Forge, VA (June 6, 2018) - As part of its summer reading program for children ages 3-12, the Clifton Forge Public Library will host Muscles With Russell. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13. It will be held in the Library’s Michael Armstrong Community Room.
Russell is Sue Ellen Haver’s 5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier. Russell holds the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification and the Therapy Dog International Certification. Along with Haver, Russell shares his abilities with children and captivates them in a way that only a dog can do. Russell demonstrates to his audience how he makes the right choices while also providing motivation and inspiration.
Haver is a speech pathologist/audiologist for the Rockbridge County Public Schools in Lexington, VA. She is also a certified wellness coach and the author of twelve children’s books and motivational coloring books for children and senior citizens.
Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children.
The Summer Free Lunch Program is held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department for children ages 18 and younger. Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30. Following the program by Russell and Haver, children may wish to participate in the free lunch program. | | | | | |
