Warren and Teenie Kegley continue their support of the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Educational Foundation, as B.A. Rupert Real Estate once again serves as a Corporate Partner for the Foundation’s fundraiser, “Bubbles, Bands & Brunch—Passport to Paris,” which will be held Sunday, September 10 at 12:30 p.m. in the Armory on the Clifton Forge campus. According to Educational Foundation Director, Rachael Thompson, this year’s party will take you to Paris for the afternoon – showcasing the familiar sights and sounds of the city of light. Rupert Real Estate is underwriting the catering for the event, which will be provided by Schaal’s Catering and Events of Fincastle and feature something for every palate – with a French inspired menu. A strolling violinist will help set the scene, and a caricature artist will be on hand for guests’ enjoyment. In addition, a silent auction will occur, featuring more than a dozen items. The Kegleys have donated two items for the silent auction: a 2-night stay at any Virginia State Park and a Thomas Kincaid painting. Seating is limited, and deadline for sponsorships is June 30. Tickets may be purchased until full or at the door, if tickets remain. Call 863-2837 or email rthompson@dslcc.edu for more information.
