WestRock’s Covington Mill Supports Local Office on Aging   Covington, VA (April 24, 2017) - The Covington mill recently presented a donation to the Local Office on Aging (LOA) in support of their Meals on Wheels program. It costs nearly $6 per meal to provide Meals on Wheels to homebound elderly. In 2015, the LOA served 155,141 meals to 914 people. LOA also provides transportation services to the doctor and emergency services including canes / walkers, FanCare, and Food Assistance. With over 25 community-based services, the LOA continues to strive to fulfill its mission of helping older people remain independent as long as possible.
